Raised in the Jewish faith, the family, despite not regularly observing the Shabbat, celebrated major Jewish holidays.
Samuel, a renowned architect, designed a synagogue in Rhode Island.
Glaser’s education took him from the Buckingham Browne & Nichols School to the Cambridge School of Weston, and later to Tulane University, where he graduated in 1966.
